Tabletop Tanto case3.0(Taikokumon model)
A sword display case that lets you enjoy your Japanese sword at home as if it were displayed in a museum. Simply place it on a shelf or mount it on the wall, plug it into a power outlet, and enjoy museum-quality viewing in your own home.
The Katana Tabletop 3.0 is the upgraded version of the Katana Tabletop 2.0. It retains everything that made the 2.0 popular while introducing several key improvements:
- Dust is less likely to accumulate and is much less noticeable.
- The haze caused by the spotlights on the front panel has been eliminated.
- The display capacity has been increased, allowing the blade to be displayed with more space around it.
- The lock has been moved to the top, creating a cleaner and more refined front design.

Features
• Displays swords up to 118 cm in overall length
Designed to accommodate Japanese swords and koshirae up to 118 cm in overall length.
Koshirae can be displayed provided the tsuba diameter is 7.5 cm or less and the overall length does not exceed 118 cm.
• Lockable front door
The front door is lockable to help prevent theft and provide additional safety for homes with small children or pets.
• Includes humidity-control material
Humidity-control packs are included to help protect your sword from sudden changes in humidity.
Please note that these materials provide only supplemental humidity control and do not automatically regulate humidity. If the room humidity exceeds 60%, use air conditioning or a dehumidifier to reduce it. For displaying koshirae, an ideal humidity range is 40–60%.
• Adjustable spotlight
The included 3000K warm-white spotlight can be aimed in any direction (360°) and features dimmable brightness.
The spotlight cannot be moved sideways along the rail or changed to a different color temperature.
• Anti-reflective front panel
The front panel is made from anti-reflective acrylic, dramatically reducing reflections and making both viewing and photography much more enjoyable.
Please note that fingerprints can be difficult to remove and may reduce the anti-reflective performance. For this reason, we recommend placing the case where small children cannot easily touch the panel.
• UV protection
Blocks 99.9% of harmful UV rays (300–380 nm) that can damage valuable works of art.
• High earthquake resistance
The case has undergone earthquake-resistance testing designed to simulate wall-mounted use.
It successfully protected the sword without damage during simulations of:
- The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake
- The Kumamoto Earthquake
- The Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake
- A projected Nankai Trough earthquake
including seismic intensities equivalent to Upper 6 and Level 7 on the Japanese scale.
The final video demonstrates the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake simulation.
(See here for details of the testing.)
These results are based solely on controlled testing and do not guarantee protection during actual earthquakes. They are provided for reference only.
• Wall-mountable
The case can be mounted on a wall. (Please see the installation guide.)
The mounting hole positions are identical to those of the Katana Tabletop 2.0, allowing existing wall-mounted 2.0 owners to replace their case without drilling new holes.
• Optional Hakushi Urushi base
As an option, the base can be upgraded to the Hakushi Urushi (Foil & Lacquer) finish, enhancing the beauty of your displayed sword even further.

Important Notes
- Each display case is handcrafted. Because welding is involved in the manufacturing process, minor distortion, scratches, or small dents may occasionally be present. These do not affect functionality, but customers seeking a flawless industrial finish should refrain from purchasing.
- Due to the anti-reflective film application process, a few small air bubbles may occasionally be visible, either initially or over time. We appreciate your understanding.
- To protect your displayed items, do not install the case in direct sunlight or in areas with high humidity.
- I am not a professional wall installer and cannot assess the structural condition of your walls. For this reason, installation services are not available. Wall mounting must be carried out at the customer's own responsibility.
- For international orders, customers are responsible for all shipping charges, import duties, and taxes. As import duties and taxes are determined by the customs authorities of each country, I am unable to estimate or guarantee these charges in advance.
